Intrepid Travel has added a new Bosnia-Herzegovina expedition to its 2023 portfolio right after it partnered with tourism associations to regenerate the country as a sustainable desired destination.
The operator has been introduced on alongside USAID’s Establishing Sustainable Tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina programme and The World-wide Vacation and Tourism Resilience Council to restore the destination.
USAID Turizam, a 5-year $20 million undertaking, facilitates tourism-pushed economic progress and promotes social harmony by capitalising on the country’s cultural heritage and normal beauty and supports the progress of the BiH tourism sector in a sustainable method.
Intrepid has been brought into the venture to share the company’s encounter in vacation spot and solution development, notably as it relates to sustainable tourism, working with regional communities, suppliers and guides on the floor.

In addition to the advisory part, the operator will offer a new eight-day Bosnia-Herzegovina Expedition, which is scheduled for five initial departures in 2023.
Highlights include things like a standard Bosnian food hosted by locals Mustafa and Mersiha in their kitchen overlooking the town of Sarajevo, paddling on a white-h2o rafting journey down the Neretva River and likely off-roading in search of wild horses in the foothills of Mount Cincar.
Priced from £1,145pp, the tour will incorporate 7 breakfasts, a single lunch and 3 dinners, all actions as highlighted in the itinerary, and accommodations like hotels and nation guesthouses.
