Glass Museum launches VIP and self-guided excursions

LANCASTER – The Ohio Glass Museum in Lancaster is now presenting non-public VIP tours and self-guided tours by the end of February. 

In accordance to a media launch, VIP tour appointments are available Tuesday by way of Saturday among midday and 4 p.m.

Self-guided tours are also available with kiosks programmed with information about the displays and the museum’s heritage. 

“We know how significant it is for people to get out of the residence and love pleasurable, secure actions for the duration of this time,” stated Mike Shook, Museum Board President. “That is why we have discovered a way to open our museum doors to men and women and modest teams when very carefully adhering to safety protocols. Irrespective of whether persons have expert the museum prior to, or it is their first time exploring the displays, we think anyone will go away with a new appreciation of the background and art these parts convey to this group.”

Transportation Enhancement District assembly Jan. 28

The Fairfield County Transportation Advancement District will explore many impending street initiatives during their board conference Thursday, Jan. 28. 

According to the board’s agenda, assignments up for discussion incorporate but are not restricted to: The U.S. 33/Pickerington Highway interchange Rock Mill Company Park and the Ety Road and Election Household Street advancements.

Carroll Committees electing chairpersons Feb. 2

CARROLL – Multiple Village of Carroll committees will elect chairpersons in approaching meetings on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

The meeting routine will be as follows: 

  • Carroll Services Committee – 5:30 p.m.
  • Carroll Principles Committee – 5:45 p.m.
  • Carroll Safety Committee – 6 p.m.
  • Carroll Financial Committee – 6:15 p.m.

As of Jan. 25, every committee will only be electing a chairperson and speaking about any business brought in advance of them, besides the Company Committee. The Service Committee will also go over changing the carpet in the municipal setting up. 

Each conference will just take put at the Carroll municipal developing at 68 Middle St. These meetings are open to the public to show up at.
