Six additional foreign airways — Garuda Indonesia, Korean Air, Iran Air, Iraqi Airways and two airways from India — have expressed curiosity to work flights to Dhaka owing to favourable regulatory coverage, vibrant industry and substantial profitability.
Of the six airways — Garuda Indonesia, Korean Air, Iran Air, Iraqi Airways — have by now applied to the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh in this regard while two airways of India have expressed their curiosity to run flights to Bangladesh, Group Captain Chy M Zia Ul Kabir, member (flight common & laws), CAAB, explained.
Apart from, Pakistan also explained its national flag carrier Pakistan Global Airlines is interested to resume its direct flights with Bangladesh after a recess of all over six a long time.
Previously British Airways, 1 of the world’s major airlines, also formally informed CAAB that they want to resume their operations from Dhaka following 11 a long time.

Zia ul Kabir explained to The Daily Star that they will sit in a consultation conference with Iraq even though course of action is underway to sit with Irani authorities.
